Pat Campbell is a morning drive host in Orlando who was kind enough to interview me about Blog last week. He obviously understands the combined power of talk radio and blogging, and has launched PC540, and is all over the Terri Schiavo case. Look for Campbell, already a force in Orlando, to become one of that region's dominant voices.
I am honored to be recognized by Hugh's site. He is the Father of the Talk Radio/Blogging movement. His blog gets a ton of traffic.

Just some helpful links to keep you moving in the right direction.
First and foremost, it pays to keep what is called a 'blogroll', i.e., a list of your most frequently read blogs. An excellent choice of most blogs is blogrolling.com.
Second, you can get exposure and learn about a whole lot of other blogs by registering with the Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem and Technorati.
Finally, the use of trackbacks is highly recommended for people who wish to link to your posts. Of course, most people who use trackbacks are running their own blog software but I think blogger may have implemented trackbacks themselves. Anyhow, at the very least you can use a standalone trackback tool.
BTW Pat, good luck, just remember - don't just think of blogging as hosting talk radio without the callers... it's much more than that, which you'll realize when you start to branch out and discover new blogs.
