The China Threat!

Word also came this weekend that China wants to buy a major U.S. oil company, Unocal, to meet its growing energy needs. Already gasoline in America is at $60/barrel, which many attribute partly to growing demand from China.

Should Americans be alarmed at what China is doing? Is a possible showdown with China in the offing?
