Big changes coming to The Orlando Sentinel in 2006
They've seen the light! They realize the lean too heavily toward the left. They're going to appease conservatives in 2006. Here is the bone they throw us in their lame attempt at balance. What a joke!
According to Jane E. Healy, the Sentinel's editorial page editor...
Once you stop laughing check out their Goals for 2006.The Sentinel op-ed page will see a significant change this year as well, something many readers have been requesting for years. Starting Monday, the comic strip "Doonesbury" will appear with the signed opinion columns. The newspaper has come to believe that the nature of the strip, often political in nature, belongs with opinion. At the same time, we recognized that "Doonesbury" is viewed almost exclusively as having a liberal point of view. So in our effort to balance opinions on that page, we also will be running "Mallard Fillmore," a comic strip that comes from a more conservative viewpoint. We will run them both every Monday through Saturday. "Doonesbury" will stay on the Sunday comics pages because of the space it requires.
Also Mike Thomas with his 2006 predictions here's my favorite...
The celebration at the Orlando Sentinel over its lone new subscriber in 2006 is short-lived when he cancels because his Sunday newspaper is tossed in the sprinklers.Who are the top 25 movers and shakers in Central Florida? Who rules the roost? According to Scott Maxwell of the Orlando Sentinel HERE they are. Oddly I'm not on the list, yet!

That's not Jane, it's a man baby! If that is a woman it looks like she was beaten with an ugly stick!
Ya know, she does kinda resemble Hillary.
