Correction! Bush was involved in this boneheaded decision.

WASHINGTON, DC- U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) today commented on the recent Midterm elections. During a brief media availability with reporters, he was also asked about President Bush’s recommendation that Senator Mel Martinez serve as the next chairman of the Republican National Committee.

It is probably why Charlie Crist avoided the el presedente, when he came to Florida. We might have gotten Davis as Governor. Republicans were sold out when Bush endorsed Mel over Bill McCollum. Fool me once; fool me twice; not a third time... GB has as much credibility with me as BC..

Our Beloved Leader Mel Martinez is co-sponsor for Sentate Bill 1620. Here's my letter to Mel on this knuckleheaded bill.

RE: S 1620 September 11 Humanitarian and Patriotism Act.

Please remove yourself as a co-sponsor of S 1620.

Please vote AGAINST this bill.

This bill allows illegal aliens to change their status to lawful aliens simply because of two reasons:

1. They were here illegally

2. They had a family member killed in NYC on September 11, 2001.

These are not valid reasons to award an illegal alien lawful status here.

Please remove yourself as co-sponsor for this ridiculous bill and vote against it.
--------end of letter to Mel----

My comment:
This bill is supported by a bunch of Democrats, and Mel.

Mel was chosen as RNC chair as an attempt to woo Hispanic voters into the GOP which would neutralize the loyal black vote the Democrats count on each election.

This strategy may be logical for votes, but it's not logical for getting border security and illegl immigration solved.

This is proof Dear Leader President Bush made a el grande boneheaded decision!
