A grave mistake and an abiding hope
Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests For Life nails it!
The man elected to the Presidency said during the campaign that he does not know when a human being starts to have human rights. How can one govern from that starting point of ignorance?

I know Fr. Pavone has made his life's work to protect the lives of innocents.
What is so sad it that a small number of Catholic Bishops have been openly vocal about the evil that president elect Obama is planning to execute during his administration.
It is now that Obama has been elected that they are speeching up. The wild horse is out of the barn, now they are going to try to bring him in.
Having spent my childhood in a Catholic home with a Father who was a Jesuit seminarian, I learned two special things about the faith.
1) American Catholics do not believe all of the same things as Roman Caholics.
2) Catholism should never be lumped with Evangelical Christians on anything.
At one third of the population, it is easily dominant over any other faith in America - and yet it is evangelical positions that are being driven as gospel.
What evangelicals need to understand, is that the more you demand that other people live by your standards/faith is why you are being marginalized by the government.
