Boeing Co. CEO Harry Stonecipher fired for Adultery!

Boeing Co. CEO Harry Stonecipher, brought back from retirement 15 months ago to boost the aerospace manufacturer's tainted image, has been forced out because of a new ethics scandal involving an affair he had this year with a female company executive

Stocks rose 52% during his 15 monthe tenure. He made big money for the shareholders. Did the company do the right thing by firing him? Why hasn't the woman been fired?

Pat,

Hi I am an employee at Boeing. Concerning Harry Stonecipher, yes, he deserves the credit for rescuing our company from multiple scandals and the rise in the stock value. In the course of this the company has adopted a policy of ETHICS. This has been hammered into us ad naseum, ad infinitum. Ethics, ethics, ethics, ethics and on and on and on.....
Stonecipher got caught fishing in the company pond. It was UNETHICAL. This company and the board had NO choice but to take the course of action that it did. How can they hammer ethics into all of the bottomfeeder workers and let it go with the bigshots. Two former executives have been sent to prison for their unethical behavior. Untold more have lost their jobs. If this company is to maintain its new persona as an ETHICAL business then it stands that it HAS to enforce this policy of ethics across the board without exception. Yes he was the man responsible for turning this company around but he screwed up and now he is being hoisted on his own petard. We employees have been drilled about a zero tolerance for unetthical behavior. It is ONLY fair and correct that it also be applied to ALL. It CANNOT be any other way.
Great show! Keep it up!

I ask that you keep me anonymous please!
