Tancredo to request al-Qaida nuke briefing
Congressman to ask Justice Department for report on 'American Hiroshima' plan

WorldNetDaily.com is reporting...

WASHINGTON – Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., a staunch critic of the federal government's lax immigration and border enforcement policies, said yesterday he would request a briefing from the Justice Department on information it has on plans revealed by WND this week for a nuclear attack on the U.S. by al-Qaida terrorists.

I have read the attached article and can not help but wonder how much of this is based on fact and how much rumor, conspiracy theory or just plain hype? It will be interesting to see what information Congressman Tancredo gets and even more interesting what he does not get (I have a security clearance, you can tell me!). Although, I'm not so sure that the Justice Department is the right place to go. He better word his questions accurately so as not to allow the answers to be pigeon holed and limited to the specified topic, such as Al-Qaida vs. terrorists in general.

I may be naive, but I must trust that our government has the resources to detect nuclear material brought into this country. It is very hard to shield this stuff and I'd hate to think that the government is so inept that they are not looking out for it.

If the Air force is so great, and the CIA is so great, why can't they find Osama bin Laden. Hell, they have satellites that could see the red spot on Gorbachev's head.
