AAI Poll shows Americans' option for diplomacy over violence
A recently-conducted Arab American Institute (AAI) poll has shown that Americans overwhelmingly reject the suggestion made by US Congressman Tom Tancredo, who had urged the American government to bomb Islamic holy sites, namely Mecca, as a response to any future attack by Islamist fundamentalists on the US national soil.

When we were at war with Italy would it have made sense to destroy St Peters Cathederal. What kind of support would that have gained us? Islamic radicals would love it if we destroyed Mecca. Instead of a few thousand followers they would have over 1 billion.

Here's one time we can follow the terrorists lead. If the terrorists or any group of "their faith" which ever faith that may be which owns the sight, ceases treating one of their sights as a holy sight, then it is obvious that it is no longer a holy sight, and we may assist them in removing it from their inventory.

I agree with the first Anonymous' comment. If Muslims shoot at US troops from a mosque, it ceases to be a religious site and becomes a target. Besides, if we took out Mecca, we could destroy their god. Their god is a rock, a peice of stone. It can be destroyed with on MOAB. Isn't their worship of this rock considered idolotry? Couldn't this explain the evil that permeates Islam?
It is amazing that with all the information available about Islam there are still people out there who are so ignorant. Muslims do not worship the black stone on the side of the Kabah. It is a meteorite that Abraham placed on the building to mark the place where a Muslim circumambulates the building as an act of respect for God's holy shrine. Anybody who thinks the stone is a god is not a Muslim. God is God. However many Christians pray to statues of Mary,Jesus, and some saints. Who is the idol worshipper?
