Another document dump in the Jessica Lunsford case.

Ocala.com is reporting...

OCALA - A slew of documents released Friday in the upcoming Jessica Lunsford murder trial includes documents that refer to a younger, troubled John Evander Couey who was still haunted by his childhood demons.

The 817-page documents release also includes all his Department of Corrections records, restitution records and the search warrant police obtained for the Homosassa home where Jessica was allegedly taken to and slain.
Rumor has it Couey is trying to work a deal. In exchange for testimony pointing the finger at an accomplice he wants life instead of the death penalty. What should Brad King do? I'm talking about it Monday.

As a resident of Citrus County and mother of 2 toddlers, I am VERY disturbed by how poorly this whole situation is being handled. Myself and other mothers have become so leary and paranoid about strangers even looking in our child's direction!
To make matters worse there is a registered sex offender living in my neighborhood...you had better believe my husband and I know who he is, where he lives, and what kind of vehicle he drives.
I agree with a previous comment that his accomplices need to be indicted as well! What is WRONG with Citrus County? It's sad to see how the National News (i.e. O'Riley Factor) has uncovered just how poorly the Sheriff's Department has handled everything.
