Principal who paraded third-grader quits

A principal thought it was a good disciplinary idea to take a third grader she suspected of stealing $5. and parade her into several classes to point her out as a liar and thief. Too bad the kid was innocent, huh? As a result, the principal's been forced to resign. And let that be a lesson to us all- if you're goign to administer extreme punishment, you might want to be sure that the person you're punishing is guilty first.

If only we could apply this lesson in our court and penal systems.
