Walt Disney came up with monorail, which is way expensive. Looking at this site it looks so much more efficient in building and maintenance cost and the ability to have cars drive up and on and even bus units that can enter and leave the track is just some really smart thinking. I had to blog about this over at Metroblogging Orlando, which the Sentinel picks up and keeps an eye on. Hopefully we can at least get some momentum going to get our officials to at least do a better job in exploring new tech to solve these problems and not sinking money into a ye olde rail to the sticks.
