This is what appeasement and tolerance get you.

For the last several years, Canadian courts have bent over backwards to accomodate Muslim interests. The government also, in some cases, kinda turned a blind eye to some groups, including one bogus "medical school," that were circumventing immigration laws to get Muslims into the country. And the result? al Qaeda is now threatening to attack Canada because it has troops in Afghanistan and, more significantly, Canada is very Christian. That's unacceptable to them. And that's the bottom line in the terrorism battle: if you don't capitulate to radical Islam, you're going to be a target.
