Minutemen, U.S. officials say military directs illegals to avoid Arizona patrols

WASHINGTON – The Mexican army is escorting those attempting to cross over the U.S. border illegally – including known drug-runners – to areas not patrolled by the Minuteman Project near Naco, Ariz., say Border Patrol sources and other officials including a U.S. congressman.

While accolades are due to the "Minutemen", I believe the Desert Southwest is fading and will go the way of Southern California and Southern Texas. The first time I patrolled the Chocolate Mountains, near Yuma, AZ, was in August and September of 1996 as part of a continuing Joint Task Force Six (JTF-6). JTF-6 is an ongoing Task Force, initially used to "study and patrol the U.S. Southern Border, assist the U.S. Border Patrol personell, and to provide invaluable, desert warfighting training." This has evolved into a tedious, unfocused training according to sources within the Special Operations Community. JTF-6 host all branches of the DOD; USA and USMC Infantry, Joint Service Fixed and Rotorary wing Aircraft, USAF PJ's, CCT's, USN SEALS, and USMC Force Reconnaissance Teams. In the fall of '96, my team was occupying an OP at elavation, and observed in a 24 hour period nearly 1,800 aliens cross into the U.S. A SPOTREP for each and every alien spotted was sent to the ROC (Reconnaissance Operations Center) with follow on to U.S. Border Officers. Needless to say, our OP was placed into "going admin"; Shut Down until extract was performed. It is suggested to the militia to curb their hunger for attention and "beat the bush" on the border. If I hadn't lost my eyesight in 2003 doing the deed, I'd of taken leave to attend. We all must do our part to protect our borders, language, and culture. If we ALL don't, Americana as we know will be lost. God Bless those less fortunate who dream of a better life for their children. Come one, come all: Sign the Guest Book first.

Post Script, Florida ranks 3rd in the nation, behind Texas (2) and California (1), in the amount of illegal aliens within it's borders.
