Hear what Congressman Tom Tancredo had to say on my show today!

Congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado talks about possible sleeper cells already in the US & how we would deal with a large scale nuclear terror attack. Listen HERE.

Here's what Doug Hagmann's Northeast Intelligence Network is saying on their site...

Exclusive: US Representative Tom Tancredo in Response to U.S. Nuke Threat:
We Could Nuke Mecca

14 July 2005: He is a no-nonsense House Representative from Colorado, a staunch critic of the federal government's lax immigration and border enforcement policies, and one who recognizes the clear and present threat posed by Islamic terrorists inside the United States. In an exclusive interview today with Pat Campbell, host of AM 540 WFLA said yesterday he would request a briefing from the Justice Department on information it has on plans revealed by WND this week for a nuclear attack on the U.S. by al-Qaeda. Responding to a question by Mr. Campbell about our possible response to such a threat, Representative Tancredo said that there are things that could be done to pre-empt a threat, and in response to an attack as well. One response would be to take out one of their holy cities with a nuclear bomb if it was clearly proven Islamic terrorists were behind such an attack.

Through the courtesy of AM 540 WFLA and Mr. Patrick Campbell, the Northeast Intelligence Network is offering the audio excerpt from this interview. Click on the link below to download the MP3 audio and listen from your computer. The Northeast Intelligence Network applauds Representative Tancredo for all of his anti-terrorism efforts to keep our country safe. We also applaud Mr. Campbell for asking the tough but necessary questions - AND getting the answers.

I heard it live and I am greatly "distressed" on 540's news' story on how he stated he would bomb the Moslem Holy Site. This was taken totally out of context from his comment which was an answer to pressure put on him by PC. I guess you guys are just like all the others.

meanwhile, closer to home:
Al-Arian Defense, Prosecutors Focus On Meaning Of `Jihad'

Yes, you see, when he shouted "Death to America! Death to Israel!" he meant it as one sad cry against oppression and injustice, don't you see? And jihad
is a spiritual struggle, of course. What's that? Islamic Jihad murdered Israeli civilians in the name of that jihad, and Al-Arian reacted approvingly?
What are you, some kind of Islamophobe?

From the
Tampa Tribune,
with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
Block quote start
TAMPA - When Sami Al-Arian called for jihad, was he just encouraging the struggle of Palestinians to recover their homeland or was he stoking a holy war?
Block quote end

This is a distinction without a difference in any case. Hamas' Charter, for example, places the Palestinian Arab struggle firmly in the context of jihad
war, and PIJ is no different. Indeed, it is because of the jihad ideology that no negotiated settlement has been possible in Israel.
Block quote start
As a government translator testified in Al-Arian's trial, the word jihad has several meanings. Both sides in the trial had different ideas about what Al-
Arian was saying.

Al-Arian repeatedly used the word jihad when he spoke at events relating to the Palestinian cause between 1989 and 1991.

The translator, Tahsim Ali, a contract linguist for the FBI, did not give the English translation of jihad when he prepared transcripts of Al-Arian's words.
Ali said he left words such as jihad and intifada in their Arabic forms because they are commonly used in English, as well.

During cross-examination, Al-Arian attorney Linda Moreno asked Ali about the meaning. Consulting a book, Ali said it means ``striving, [and is] used to
mean both quest for holiness and waging a holy war.''

He agreed it also can mean ``striving your utmost'' and ``struggling to achieve a goal.''

Krigsman later asked how to judge the meaning, and Ali said he goes by the context.

The prosecutor then pointed to several instances in which Al-Arian used the word, including when he said: ``Thus is the way of jihad. Thus is the way of
martyrdom. Thus is the way of blood, because this is the path to heaven.''
Block quote end

"The way of blood." Yes, clearly he was referring to the "quest for holiness."
Block quote start
Al-Arian is on trial along with Sameeh Hammoudeh Hatim Naji Fariz and Ghassan Zayed Ballut on charges they helped organize and finance the Palestinian Islamic
Jihad, an organization in Israel and the occupied territories that has been linked to terrorist activity.

Seems to be a lot of hysterically unhelpful loose talk around lately .. referring of course to the Congressman's comments. He appears to have confused fundamentalism with religion. Not all Christians are evil .. similarly with Islam. The holy site of Mecca is for all of us , Christian or Muslim. I really don't see how the point made by Tancredo was "taken totally out of context" (wm in his comment). I listened to it and it was self evident. We all need to calm down. The British have been a lot more mature about what happened in London than you guys.

It's the "useful idiots" such as yourself, Gianni, that stand idlely by and say that islam is for everybody. Your statement is foolish and uneducated, to say the least. I'm wondering if your not a Muslim. Every muslim I've spoken to says the exact same thing you do. Islam is for everyone? Tell that to the people of Sudan. Tell that to the original non-muslim inhabitants of Fez, Morocco. Who were slaughtered, they and their unborn children who were cut out of the womb and killed. The Religion and Motto of Islam
is: Convert or die!
I as an American agree with Congressman Tancredo. If one, and I mean one, suicide bomber has a nuke and nukes an American city, then the American response should be met with an "ultimate response."

...can you imagine if the "Soccer Hooligans" were allowed to go and take care of business? Don't confuse Blair with a statesman. Tancredo's answer is hypothetical. Don't forget, it was the liberal socialists in Britain which empowered Muslim immigration, and which so fertilized the seeds of IslamoFasicism. Ultra tolerance will kill ALL of us.

blowing up mecca is not your answer to terriost. actions done by a small group can not be taken out on a whole nation. i think people need an reality check? for most of the muslims i've talked to have condemed sucide bombers as an of jihad but act of foolishness.

america needs to open up it's eyes terriost want people to divide. this IS NOT A RELIGIUOS WAR! they are trying to get the attention of the governments. why do people everyday in palestaine blow them selves up in jeruselum for FUN!NO not for fun they want want them to pull out from the gaza strip.

sept 11 why because osama wanted the military to pull out from the arabian peninsula !!!!

in madrid , russia, london these are all ways for them to get what they want .

BUT it is not a holy war . "but the terriost said that" they want you to think that. what they say does'nt count if want to know whether thats true ask the scholors who have already condemmed these kind of acts.

Help me Dude, I'm lost.

I was searching for Elvis and somehow ended up in your blog, but you know I'm sure I saw Elvis in the supermarket yesterday.

No honest really, he was right there in front of me, next to the steaks singing "Love me Tender".

He said to me (his lip was only slightly curled) "Boy, you need to get yourself a shiny, new plasmatv to go with that blue suede sofa of yours.

But Elvis said I, In the Ghetto nobody has a plasma tv .

Dude I'm All Shook Up said Elvis. I think I'll have me another cheeseburger then I'm gonna go home and ask Michael Jackson to come round and watch that waaaay cool surfing scene in Apocalypse Now on my new plasma tv .

And then he just walked out of the supermarket singing. . .

"You give me love and consolation,
You give me strength to carry on "

Strange day or what? :-)
