School Board rejects resignation
The decision follows news that teacher Jan P. Hall planned a $20 million lawsuit against Orange schools.
What do you mean you reject her resignation? She quit, she's done, she's not coming back. What part don't you get? Why is School-district attorney Frank Kruppenbacher trying to get her teaching license revoked? Please note that the Orlando Sentinel is only telling part of the story. They make no mention that they are being sued along with the Spanish-language newspaper El Nuevo Dia that published the private letter without Jan Hall's permission.

She was suspended without pay!
She was forced to resign!

I think Jan Hall "leaked" it herself. I think she is a disgruntled teacher who was looking for a way to sue the district to get her due.
Even if she didn't do it, and her teaching career is ruined, where does she get off filing suit for such an exorbitant amount of money? Does she really think she was going to make $20M over the short remainder of her teaching career?
Either way, there is only going to be one big loser in this whole mess. Get out your lube taxpayers and get ready to bend over!!!

She should sit back and collect her paycheck while under suspension while she waits for the Board to respond to her intent to sue. I'm sure they will use the entire six months they have to respond.
When did the school board reinstate her pay? Didn't see any coverage of that!!!

jan hall really offended me. im in 7 grade and i get straight a's. i wasnt born in puerto rico but my moms from there. she cant say shes more american than i am an because her ancestors probably came from england or something. also if they were to close the borders from pr to the us they might as well close the borders to every one and we could become a country like cuba.
It is time for another civil war. the last 5 presidents have let cubans, haitians, puertoricans, mexicans gain access to our social security system. The polital process in this country will not standup to the laws that it made.
Illegal alien. It will not punish illegal aliens or the white, black or hispanic american that hires them. The employer doesnt pay any taxes on these illegals. The only way to wake up every one in this country if for civil disruption.

You dont have to be a racist to be concerned about where your social security check will come from 20 years from now. There are many things that make this country sorry. As far as I am concerned anyone that employees this illegals
should be shot in the head or hanged. I use to be proud of my country until Carter and all presidents following him.

Where's jan now. I heard she had a falling out with her WAMT radio spokesman. What's going on?
She was my fifth grade teacher and she was not racist and I am PuertoRican. So all you people need to stop. That happened when I went to 5th grade and she was a great teacher. :]
