What kind of parent leaves a decision of this magnitude to a 14 year old girl?
Does Mom bear some culpability here? Exercising poor judgment allowing her 14 year old daughter to be alone with a 48 year old married man in a pool? Especially when you take into consideration the victim has made similar claims against relatives in the past.

To answer your question on how masterbation comes in a conversation between a child and an adult, there are times that the child brings it up out of the blue. As a teacher, I have had to redirect students on questions or comments that they raise that are off-topic. I don't do anything to encourage the discussion but they bring it up anyway.
I'm not trying to defend this man and don't know if my explanation fits this situatin or not. I'm just giving you a reason how masterbation could come up in a topic.

I am please that he was found NOT guilty. I hope that the poor man can get on with his life without all the baggage that goes along with this type of charge. I think the girl's credibility lacks to a major degree.

He's got to be one of the classiest color commentators in the league, and he has added immensely to the Magic organization. It's sad that his dedication to the team was not reciprocal. It shows the cut and run mentality of those little minds that infest upper management. Jack's courage and steadfastness through this hellish ordeal has gained my utmost respect, as opposed to the "organization" he was sadly connected to. Hopefully and God willing, he will find peace, fulfillment and greener pastures with people that can truly appreciate his talent.
