Did the cops use excessive force?

WFTV 9 is reporting...
Former UCF Student Suing Officers, City Over Taser Incident
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A former UCF student is suing two Orlando police officers and the city of Orlando for excessive force and civil rights violations. A videotape shows the 23-year-old woman being shot with two tasers after she was knocked to the ground by police during a Citrus Bowl tailgating party two years ago.
Watch the video on WFTV. They made the safer choice to use non lethal force to subdue the suspect rather than a physical altercation that could have injured both parties.

No. They should have tased her again and then proceeded to beat her with a rubber hose!

Hmm. Maybe they should have tasered the first woman as well. After all, she should know that Orlando Police are "untouchable". And the officer hitting the cameraman, he should have maybe drawn his sidearm and executed him instead. Hell, why don't we just equip the cops with Gatling guns. That way they can mow down whole crowds of people that might be looking at them.

/sarcasm

ed,

why is it that a police officer doing his job is an "idiot" but drunk college kids interfering with police officers are not? This video clearly shows how out of control drunk tailgaters can be. You DO NOT approach or touch or tap or push or interfere with police officers when they aren't making arrest, you CERTAINLY don't do it when they are. This clearly shows how drunk college students out of control tailgating have absolutely no common sense or respect for the law or its enforcers. These officers were CLEARLY marked as police, but yet the drunken students still managed to interfere with them. I guess it doesn't matter if it is a badge around the neck or a fully marked uniform, you are blind in your opinions anyway.

anonymous: watch the video. Then tell me she deserved to be tased. And the guy taking the video of the incident, tell me he deserved to be hit by the officer for videotaping.

And sign your name, coward.
