Church Hosts Free Porn Weekend

Clermont, Fl - To help raise awareness regarding issues surrounding pornography within its community, Clermont Fellowship Church will host a free porn weekend. The event will be held at a local high school.

Focus on pornography addiction and how to protect your children from porn. Helpful resources will be provided for the community. Former porn star & prostitute "Shelly Lubben" & XXXchurch.com pastor & founder will be guest speakers.

The Fellowships's lead Pastor Tom Casolaro says, "Porn is at epidemic proportions, it's destroying families, churches, and the fabric of our society, and it's time the church stands up and says something."

I don't think I'll be attending because I'd be pretty uncomfortable around my fellow church-goers if I were to see something I liked and accidentally blurted out something that would give my mother a heart attack.

I actually think this is a decent idea so that it teaches parents who aren't street smart or internet savvy how to protect their children. Being porn free is a noble stand to take.

And since I came out publicly on near-international radio about my affinity for porn, namely Tera Patrick, I'd like to thank Pat for suggesting that my boyfriend "NEEDED" porn to get excited even though he's dating me. He laughed about that one and says "Thanks man". Next thing you'll know he'll get an athletic sponsorship from Cialis (aka - "See Alice"). However, that's far from the truth. We are secure in ourselves and our relationship. Neither one of us gets jealous because we know where the real love is, who's in bed next to the other each night, and who goes to the kitchen to get him a beer...er protein shake. LOL!

But it's consensual and that's the biggest thing. We knew that early on in our relationship of now 5 years. It's different if the wife/husband doesn't like it. Then the husband/wife should abstain out of respect for the marriage. If the girlfriend/boyfriend doesn't like it, then you need to evaluate whether it's time to make her your ex-girl and get on with the next girl. There's no use being in a relationship where you know you'll be unhappy, or nagging for the spouse to tolerate it, or sneaking around and risking upsetting the other when they find your stash.

It can be addictive for those who have a propensity for addiction. That would be the same people who are alcoholic, food addicts, cigarette smokers, etc. One vice carries over to the next. And some trade in one addiction for another. Just depends on which addictions are legal (cigarettes or food) or considered more acceptable (religion or Nascar).

This is so Dr. Ruth....

Consensual or not, porn is a destroyer. Porn is not some victmless vice without consequences. The reality behind the industry is dark and twisted. That hour or two of footage that you watch from the comfort of your home is a glossed-over artifice. The women are pressured, forced, and brutalized into many of those acts. Shelley has talked about how some of the things that she's done, that on film she appears to be enjoying took 8 hours, a bottle of vodka, and a variety of drugs. Porn objectifies women, dehumanizes them, and enslaves those who view it. Check out Shelley's site to learn the truth behind the facade.

And those same women can choose not to do it. Those same customers can choose not to buy it. It wouldn't be an issue if there wasn't such a HUGE market for it.

Many of those porn "actresses" would say they feel liberated and in control (Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, and that one all female owned video company) because they are the ones who sign the releases and the contracts to what they will do or not do and for how much money. This is the one trade where the women make more money than their male counterparts....excluding the distributor.

I absolutely agree that 99% of the women who have been filmed/photographed for porn will never be "stars". But I don't think very many of them had no idea what was going on once they were asked to take their clothes off. This does not include the current fad of catching drunk college girls at parties on tape, that is rape. But porn, in general, is not, especially given the releases they have to sign.
