The Failed War On Drugs

Here's a question no one seems to be able to answer for me.

Q: Prohibition didn't work with alcohol. Why would this failed approach work with illegal drugs?

This question is like asking if alcohol prohibition didn't work why would the prohibition of murder work? Although there are similarities between illegal drugs and alcohol, we are talking about two completely different beasts here.

There are milions of people out there everyday consuming alcohol moderately, responsibly and safely. The same can not be said for most illegal drugs. No one ever does heroine, cocaine or crack in moderation. They always want more. Furthermore, there is a moral discontent for drug use that does not exist with alcohol.

So why didn't alcohol prohibition work? Because the people didn't want it. Why does drug "prohibition" work? Because the "moral majority" supports it, whether they agree with the way it is being enforced or not.

Jeb it's good to see you're back at
Conspiracy Central drinking the Koolaid by the gallon. Did you know that George Bush is a member of the secretive Skull & Bones society? I've even heard that Cheney ate aborted babies while at Haliburton to fuel his enormous ego! You can read all about this and meet fellow Bush haters at moveon.org
