New rally estimate of 200,000!!!
Boycott, march, human chain set for May 1
ARCADIA -- Emboldened by the success of a demonstration in Fort Myers on April 10, the Immigrantes Latinos Unidos de la Florida announced Wednesday that a second protest march will be held in Orlando on May 1.
For the Orlando demonstration, ILUF president Luis Ibarra said, 200,000 Hispanics are expected.
Their goal is "good news" from Congress in the form of a bill that legalizes illegal immigrants, allowing them to become American citizens.

we ought to look at Monday afternoon not as a negative with the detours around town.... The INS should set up checkpoints at the point where the rallies end and have lots of buses to round up the suspected illegal immigrants

Let's change the "parade" route and send them down a dead end alley.
Fleetwood Homes of alburndale cave to their demands to have Monday off.So now I have too take a day off with no pay because they are shutting the plant down on Monday may 1.
Just means I will tell everyone I know in the market for a mobile home to NOT BUY Fleetwood because they employ illegals.
I'd be surprised if 2,000 illegals show up. Unless of course they are handing out free cans of beans, then we better be ready for a crowd close to 2,000,000.
I say the ralley is a perfect place to pick all the illegals up and send them someplace...anyplace. This administration has failed miserably. We need about 5000 INS agents in Orlando to separate the chaff from the wheat.
But for the votes of who? Illegals can't vote...at least they aren't supposed to count. But we all know how many ineligible people voted anyway in the last election thanks to not checking records for felons. So I'm sure local "Hispanic" organizations are encouraging those they fantasize as "migrants" to vote. Happy Socialist and Communist day today on May 1st.
I am considering wearing my INS baseball cap and meandering through the overly estimated crowds of illegal, law breaking, citizens of that country beneath our border. We must get them all out of here. Who in the hell do they think they are???
Is it any wonder that the protest is taking place today is that today is Labor Day in Mexico
Expected: 200,000
Actual (at noon): 2,000
Actual (at 2pm): 3-5k
Hmm... sounds like not so much a rally as a fizzle.
BTW, I've posted my own Catholic take on illegal immigration.
