OK, so it costs the American taxpayer $22,000 per year for each illegal immigrant in the country (if I understand this right). My 21 year old daughter, with 2 years of college, living at home made $20,700 last year working 40 hours a week, including some overtime. Out of that she pays for her health insurance, contributes to the company 401K plan, federal income tax, social security, Medicare and not eligible for any EIC refund.
A friend she went to school with, met a Venzuelan immigrant at a bar, and got pregnant. She receives government assistance, and lives in a nice gated apartment complex.
My daughter asked me why she was only getting a $250.00 refund on the $1,900 in federal taxes that were witheld. Her friend told her this year with her refund and her boyfriends income tax refund, (EIC?) they have enough money for a down payment and are going to buy a house in Oviedo.
