General David Petraeus was robbed!
Time magazine blows it again! Time's Person of the year was a no-brainer. The greatest success story of 2007 was/is General David Petraeus a real American hero.
Time couldn't bring themselves to say something positive about the US let alone the Military. So they gave the honor to a despot, Vladimir Putin. The dictator of the former communist Russia, former KGB, a man who puts his political opponents in jail. This is the man they put up on a pedestal and choose to honor. If this doesn't show Time's true colors I don't know what does.

I'm surprised they didn't name Britney Spears or Paris Hilton! This country has gone to s**t hasn't it.. Did you see the UNICEF photo of the year award winner? The Afganistan man with his new bride. He's 40 something, and she is 11 year old. Praise Allah!!

Could we expect anything less of the year book of the left?
We (as a nation) are in serious trouble, I truly believe we have past the point of no return, we are destined to be one of 2 things:
1. A true 3rd world nation
2. A Socialist Nation.
We have cowered in the corner for the last 30 years (except for the 8 years of President Ronald Regan)and are now so politicaly correct we would not know what the right thing to do was if it bit our leadrship in the face.
On the same note... as a collective, the voters in this nation have given up the right of choice by allowing the process to leave out the majority of the population in every election.
Has anyone EVER asked a single politican why on earth they would run for office, to gain a job that pays a little over $160,000, and spend millions to get it.
And why is it we NEED lawyers and millionairs leading us... is that telling us ( the common folk) that if we are not one of them we are just not smart enough to lead?
Nope Pat! I think we have truly gone over the cliff and I worry everyday when I look at my 2 little girls what we have left them.

Pat, I could not agree with you more. Typical left leaning TIME could not say anything good about Iraq if their life depended on it. I would propose that the real Person of the Year is the American Soldier. Without them, TIME would not have the freedom to be this stupid. We miss you on 540 WFLA. Where can we hear you next?
They praise Putin for eliminating some rights of the Russians in order to "stabilize" Russia? What do they think of the Patriot Act???? Time Magazine is a joke along with most of the mainstream media. Where are you heading Pat?
The Person of the Year doesn't have to go to a good guy. It is based on how much a person has an effect on the world at large. That would probably be Putin. Other persons of the year, 1933 Adolf Hitler, 1979 Ayatollah Khomeini.
One does have to wonder why a defending of freedom was overlooked and a killer picked. As you said it does show there values and what they would have in store for our country if in power.
