Ohio Guv Won't Run with Obama

ABC News' Teddy Davis and John Santucci Report: Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland (D) was Shermanesque on Tuesday in saying that he would "absolutely not" be Sen. Barack Obama's, D-Ill., running mate even if asked to join the Democratic ticket.

Asked on NPR's "All Things Considered" if he is auditioning to be Obama's running mate, Strickland said, "Absolutely not. If drafted I will not run, nominated I will not accept and if elected I will not serve.

So, I don’t know how more crystal clear I can be."

Strickland was seen by some political handicappers as an attractive vice presidential pick for Obama because he is a popular chief executive and former House member who hails from Ohio, the state which decided the 2004 election.

What does Ted know that we don't?-PC

He's probably afraid he'll wind up along with Obama; both of their boxers around the ankles, minus his brains and dead in a park somewhere, like Vince Foster. I don't blame him.

BO will probably pick somebody like John Conyers, Senator from Detroit, so we can rebuild America in the mirror image of Chicago and Detroit...

What's this Obama refuses to release his birth certificate, and it's not public record in Hawaii?

This is our alternative "insane McCain". As a vietnam vet during this same timeframe, I'm staying home, or maybe voting for Bob Barr, or a write in for PC. I wouldn't follow either of them to the men's room in MN.. let alone as Commander in Chief.
