Franken in Talkers Meltdown

Air America star Al Franken had a meltdown Friday night while accepting the Freedom of Speech Award at Talkers Magazine's New Media Seminar, before being forced to leave the stage by the event's sponsor.

Michael Harrison from Talker's Magazine stopped by the show this morning to give us a blow by blow account.

The left's actions are largely defined by the socialist dogma developed since Karl Marx first put pen to paper. The emphasis is upon action in support of the cause. There can be no deviation for the sake of compassion or social propriaty. That sort of mindset has passed down to socialist wannabes like Al Franken, Hillary, more-equal-than-us Teddy Kennedy, etc. They feel that they have a mandate to set us less-enlightened folk straight regardless of how they must act to do so.

On the other hand, their anything-for-the-cause attitude is mirrored in the anything-for-profit attitude which is drilled into MBA students. Unfortunately, neither major party speaks for that most-important constituancy, people like me. ;)

Al who? FrakenGore? How does one receive an award for radio if the station you work for amounts to nothing more than a paid informercial? What is his show rated anyway? How many stations broadcast his bunk? Seems to me people need to discern between a rocker like P.C., and a one note song like FrankenGore and Sean Vanity.

This was no meltdown. Franken is a compassionate man who actually has been on 3 USO tours and visits our brave soldiers in Walter Reed. The neo-cons actually voted down veteran benefits several times, while the Democrats brought up the veteran benefit portion into the legislation to begin with.

Why don't you quit your sensationalism and talking points, i.e. "meltdown", "liberal", "socialist", "bledding heart", "communicst" slander and pay attention to who is on your side...unless you're part of the upper 1% and a heartless bastard, which I doubt.
