Wednesday Morning 7:00AM Guest

Carrie McDonnall survived an insurgent ambush in northern Iraq that killed her husband, David, and three others, as told in Facing Terror.

Since becoming an international missions worker in 1999, Carrie has served in Israel, Jordan, Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries. During that time, she met and married David McDonnall, a fellow relief worker. They served together in Iraq doing humanitarian work until the attack in March, 2004.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Carrie is “a maroon-blooded Aggie through-and-through.”

Still recovering from her wounds, she is currently at home in Texas. She has established Carry On Ministries (www.carryonministries.org) to support global missions work, and hopes one day to return to international work herself.

Carrie offers the unique perspective of someone who was on the ground in Iraq, working among the people. She'll be speaking at a conference at First Baptist
Church in Oveida, FL this week.
