Actor Kanye West Ruins NBC Relief Show, declares 'George Bush doesn't care about black people'

Hat Tip to Zebrality

During a nationally televised Hurricane Katrina relief show, singer Kayne West showed the world what he was made of as he went on a tirade against George W. Bush.

"George Bush doesn't care about black people," West said. "They're saying black families are looting and white families are just looking for food...they're giving the (Army) permission to shoot us"

NBC attempted to cut off the out-of-line remarks by cutting to a shot of actor Chris Tucker, but by then, the damage had already been done.

Check out the video HERE.

"George Bush doesn't care about black people,"
Quick someone run and tell Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell!

Does race play role in hurricane relief?
The hurricane victims plucked from rooftops and slogging through waist-deep water on TV newscasts have been mostly the poor, usually black.
Interesting blog you have - good work Play poker tournament the most popularity game anywhere

So in the middle of a national disaster we are now hearing the new talking points for the black leadership. Perhaps his comments should be directed to the democratic leadership who have created this welfare plantation in this city and in others.

Where are the black men and husbands of these women and babies charged with protecting and making plans to get their loved one out of harms way. Mr. West, you better take a long look at your culture, beacause you are the problem.

I think it is safe to say that Kanye West doesn't care about white people. By the way, will Kanye be opening his fashionable home to hurricane victims? How about the other libs? Will we see single mom African/Americans living in the homes of Hollywood,Hianisport, and the upper West Side of NY City?

Whats with all these ads? This is a real problem, not a board to add your stupid cat furniture.
I do not support President Bush, however, I will not and can not blame him for the disaster in New Orleans. I bleieve it is the "fault" of the local state and federal agencies who did NOT employ their own "mandantory evacuation" order and did not bus these people out..whether they liked it or not.
This race BS gets on my nerves too. The so called "black leaders" are perpetuating this inflammatory crap only to incite. Jesse Jackson you should be ashamed..rainbow my ass.

I don't know how many people see the irony in this statement. If you look at some of the policies that President Bush has advocated:

1. No Child Left Behind / School Vouchers. Who benefits more from school vouchers, rich white republicans whose children already go to good schools or who can afford private schools or the poor families whose children do not normally attend the good schools or cannot afford to go to private school?

2. Social Security Reform. Who benefits more from fixing social security, rich white republicans who don't need social security or poor families whose only source of income will be social security?

First response is the local government’s is responsibility. Contrary to what anyone would think, it takes time to muster up that kind of response. Not to mention the Mayor of New Orleans bused out some rich people, from a top rant hotel, and made some poor shall I say it “black” people give up their place on the bus, sound familiar? It is not about race; even to the Mayor it’s about wealth. Knowing of (his) the Mayor own actions he still got on the phone, and cursed out President. If President Bush didn’t care about blacks how did Condi Rice get her place in the administration?

Good Going Kayne West, instead of bringing this country together you just created more problems with your ignorance. First of all alot of the people in that area of N.O is black, so I guess you could say that yeh, no kidding all they potrayed on the television was mostly black looting, because it is most of the population. And before your racist self blames George Bush for not caring about black people, id take a good look at yourself whom just created more hatred and segregation. And just to think I bought one of your cd's..consider it broken, Well guess what,, I know others, beside me, who aren't buying your next cd just cause of that. Your a hypocrite!! Do you actually think the alot of the people that are helping the victims of Katrina aren't white?? DO you actually think they really appreciate your ignorant comments. Nothing like doing your people more harm than good.

If you really want to piss Kanye off, don't buy his album. Or better yet, burn it from the internet.
