Anderson Cooper sets up Tancredo
Congressman Tancredo was on Anderson Cooper on CNN Friday night talking about refugee status for Iraqis when this set up occured.
LEKOVIC: Well, that's just a part of the picture: 7,000 is a very paltry number. And we can't forget the fact here that there are people involved. There are people whose lives have been devastated. We have promised that we would save -- we would rescue them from malnutrition, from mayhem, from murder.
And that is precisely what they are facing every day and why they are leaving the country in large droves.
Congressman Tancredo is the same man who a few years ago said that we should consider taking out Mecca in order to send a message to the terrorists. So...
TANCREDO: Whoa -- that is absolutely...
LEKOVIC: ... this gentleman is not the man to be...
TANCREDO: You have no respect, ma'am, because you would say a thing like that.
LEKOVIC: ... discussing this type of problem to preserve all human life.
TANCREDO: Well, that is absolutely untrue that I said we should take out Mecca in order to send a message.
LEKOVIC: Sir, you said we should consider it.
TANCREDO: It was never to, quote, "send a message." And that is an entirely inaccurate way...
LEKOVIC: Sir, did you say that we should consider taking out Mecca? TANCREDO: What I said was, well, do you want to fight that battle again? I'm happy to. But what I'm telling you is what you just said is not only inaccurate, but I think it's disingenuous.
COOPER: Well, as always, we care about the facts on 360. We checked the transcript of Congressman Tancredo's interview with talk show host Pat Campbell.
When asked how he would respond if terrorists struck several U.S. cities with nuclear weapons, he said, quote, "If this happens in the United States and we determined that it is the result of extremist fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites."
Campbell said, "You're talking about bombing Mecca?"
And Tancredo responded, "Yes."

Here's the e-mail I sent to Tancredo's Press Secretary...
Carlos Espinosa,
Please tell Congressman Tancredo that I had nothing to do with Anderson Cooper's hit piece Friday night. Cooper lied! They never confirmed anything with me. We don't furnish transcripts of my show and CNN did not have permission to use our audio. This was clearly a planned setup, taking the congressman's words out of context and not allowing him to respond. CNN's agenda is quite clear, sink Tancredo. I would love to get the congressman back on the show to talk about this story next week. Let me know what we can do. Thanks in advance!
Best~
Pat Campbell

I wouldn't be surprised if Ibrahim Hooper from CAIR, was not involved in the setup, just like CAIR is trying to sabatoge and extort the airline industry. Cooper.. Hooper... Who's got the biggest pooper scooper? Target Tom Tancredo now because he offends Islam.
We don't need another 7,000 Arabic's relocating this this country. The various tribes can't get along in the Middle East, let alone the ones we have now in Dearborn, MI and other areas of the country. Check the police blotter in Dearborn, of the daily crimes commited in that city. Henry Ford High School in Dearborn, is as beautiful as any Ivy league college in the US. What do we have. Arab gangs. Lebanese gangs; Sunni gangs; Caldean gangs; Shitte gangs.. Like I said, they can't get along with each other. We do not need their type of hate in this country. Nor do we need any more taxi drivers, party store's selling alchohol, cigarettes, or under the table businessmen establishing under the table illegal business's such as the tax free cigarette ring from NC, distributing cigarettes to party store owners in MI.
Next we will be having revenge suicide attacks in our malls, schools, etc.
Call me a racist, a bigot, islamafobe, or whatever; but I am no fool; and Tom Tancredo is none of these, either.
Look in the mirror Cooper, Lekovic, and Hooper. You are the ones soliciting anomosity and hate in this country.
There is an obvious lack of the English language by Ms. Lekovic, in the translation from English to Arabic. ie: "should" and "shall" means you will and it is required; "could" means it might, or may be a consideration, or an option.
LEKOVIC quote: "Sir, did you say that we 'should' consider taking out Mecca?"
TANCREDO quote: "If this happens in the United States and we determined that it is the result of extremist fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you 'could' take out their holy sites."
We all know CNN's problem, so I don't have to explain that..
Americanfobia for the Arab's?
Mr. Tancredo did not threaten to blow up Mecca. He nearly suggested a few years ago..., that may be an option, if the radical Islamists continue to attack America.
Ms. Lekovic... American? Can you say "I am proud to be an American, and to live in America"?
Ms. Lekovic, you owe Mr. Tancredo and the American people an apology. I take your comments as an insult to a fellow American, and a potential Presidential candidate. Likewise, for CNN and Mr. Cooper.
