Did these guys cross the line?
Should they be fired?

What ever happened to free speech in America? I'm offended all the time by things I hear on television, on the radio, and in public. I purchased beer at an Arab owned beverage store, and the clerk calls me "boss". Offended me for whatever reason. I don't shop there anymore. Bought a hot dog at the Home Depot and a Mexican calls me "gringo" blah, blah.. If somebody's offended by JV & Elvis, or Imus, or Stern, change the channel! Don't take my free speech away because you are offended. If you don't like freedom of speech, move back to where you came from. Next we'll be listening to Dr. Laura reruns, and Arabic music. Now, have a nice day!

This is beyond stupid. The people were patient and polite, they probably have to listen to morons on a regular basis to make a living. How anyone considers this humor is unfathomable. Of course, the average I. Q. of their listeners is most likely no more than Tiger Woods' last round at the Master's.

The solution is not to keep quite and don't offend anyone. The solution is for everyone to offend as many people as possible. You think I'm kidding? I am not. If we did this it would not take long for everyone to become desensitized to all this crap. It is sad that we have allowed it to get this bad. So I do my part everyday. If I can't offend at least one lib everyday, I feel I am slacking.

It's not that JV and Elvis were offensive, it's that they are simply not funny. I bet Free F.M. was just waiting to get rid of them. If Opie and Anthony or Stern did this it would not even be an issue and it would at least be funny. Do I think they should be fired for this? Hell No, but they are an unfunny group of DJ's and not very clever either.

JV is married to an Asian American! it is truely absurd to punish these guys. if anybody is having a problem with the way JV and Elvis run their program. CHANGE THE STATION!!!

JV & Elvis stink. But there is no way that they should be fired for edgy radio. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it" - Voltaire (there is some debate if he said that or not) but someone did.

God bless America??

I just listened to that broadcast. They are/were suspended /fired for that? TC and the rest of the suits at CBS should hang their heads in shame. What a bunch of cowards. But then again from the Howard days TC was never supportive. He maybe be rich but rich and no respect doesn't amount to alot. And how the hell does he play golf, when he never has had any balls.
