Thomas: Disney apology could cool talk about racial profiling
Whitley: No Super Bowl MVP treatment for these teens at Disney
Here are the details of the story that started it all.
Disney accused of profiling black teens

Why has everyone turned racial profiling into the ultimate sin? I think we agree that racial profiling needs to be used to thwart would-be terrorist attacks. It's a useful tool to help narrow law enforcements efforts where they most need to be. If racial profiling is a good tool that should be used to thwart terrorism, then why wouldn't it be a good tool used to weed out thugs and gangbangers that hang around Downtown Disney?
I don't think Disney did anything wrong here. I've been to Downtown Disney several times and it is primarily young black males (followed closely by young Hispanic males) that cuase the large majority of disturbances, intimidate others and make it an uncomfortable place to go in that area of Disney. I don't go to the AMC movie theater there anymore because the last time I was there I sat in a theater full of rival gang members who were literally screaming at each other the entire movie. The cops had to actually come in and stop the movie to give the audience a lecture on how to behave and that if the situation didn't improve, everyone was going to get thrown out. I just want to be able to se a movie. I don't need all that other crap and I sure as hell don't want to get stabbed or shot. I'd much rather go to a theater where all I have to do is worry about some idiot talking on their cell phone the entire time.
Whatever Disney needs to do to keep out the riff raff is OK in my book. I've had enough of dealing with thugs and gangbangers and people who generally have no respect for anyone other than themselves.
I understand how you feel and I agree some what, but these kids are not gangbangers as you say. these kids do not hang out in the street and so on.why is everyone keep calling them gangbangers. They have jobs and they work hard for what they have or else they would not be in the posetion they are in.They were in disney because they thought there they would be able to relax after a hard day of work. I know two of these kids and thjeir familys and I trust them to know they would not broke the law, and no one can say they broke the law.what's wrong with walking around disney isen't it why it is there. everyone wants to cast stones, and don't even know why they are casting it.Seems like the problem is not the kids but America as a whole. we need to look at our sflves. Look at the real law breakers like the gores , the britneys, the christanas who everyone love and are not band from any where. who is talking about them, and they are breaking the law. America needs to wake up.
All you need to do is look at the crime stats to know who's doing the crimes. After you do that, you then need to look at the population and how it is broken down by race. After you have done these two simple things you can easily see racial profiling is a good and useful tool. When you have limited resources, you need to take off the blindfolds and use all the tools available to you.

I and my family will be avoiding Downtown Disney, and any other attraction, or event in Orlando or the Southwest side of Orlando. There is nothing safe for tourists and their families there anymore, and have suggested to anyone up North that I know to avoid Orlando, and possibly consider a trip to Europe or a cruise, which per Clark Howard, is actually cheaper than a family visit to Disney. (Probably heck of a lot safer, since they don't worry about racial profiling, offending a minority in Europe, and you probably don't have to worry about arriving for a family vacation to find the park swarming with gays wearing red shirts, smooching, and grab assing each other for gay days, etc.) Don't recall hearing anything about home invasions, carjackings in Europe lately. Odd isn't it that Orlando never had either of those crimes until the black and hispanic population increased substantially in the the last few years.
