Exclusive New Details In The Farris Hassan Story

Doug Hagmann has all the details at NEIN.

Even the most basic research found that Farris Hassan was NOT enrolled in any journalism class at Pine Crest, which should automatically cast doubt on the true nature of his journey. Lourdes Cowgill, president of the Pine Crest School, said that Hassan was never given an "immersion journalism" assignment and added that there is, in fact, no journalism class at the school. Also, the school confirmed that the boy’s father, Dr. Redha Hassan not only knew of his son’s intended travels, but authorized his absence, which is inconsistent with his initial public statements.

It gets better...

Perhaps most importantly, research and investigation into Dr. Redha Hassan found that he was arrested by the FBI in 1985 for forging 2000 Iraqi passports and military I.D. cards and seeking to forge 2,000 more. Dr. Hassan asked his next-door-neighbor and print store owner Joel Feinstein to make the passports and IDs. According to Feinstein, Dr. Hassan claimed the documents were for his family in Iraq. Feinstein reported the request to the FBI, and became an operational asset for the federal government, leading to Hassan’s arrest. Also arrested were two of Farris's uncles and a "pro-Khomeini" activist identified as Salah Jawad Shubber.

So much for the liberal fantasy that improving the muslims' financial status will stop terrorism, because all those impoverished, disenfranchised jihadi nice guys want is an opportunity to provide for themselves and their families.

Are the Illuminati involved in this Doug?

I liked it when Tucker Carlson, super conservative, blindsided Pat Campbell. This event barely qualifies as news. It's already a dead issue.

Since when does a FBI arrest qualify as speculation?

If this is a dead story why did Rita Cosby bring up the new developments on her show the other night?

It's much ado about nothing. A kid wants to visit his parents country big deal. Anybody can visit Iraq its not North Korea. Its a capitalist county in the middle of a civil war. If you are a businessman or have roots in Iraq it is not dufficult to go there.

Nonsense! You need a special visa to get into Iraq. That's why Farris Hassan's daddy got one for him. Your ignorance on this subject is breathtaking!

Nice post, sick boy.
Unfortunately, facts can't change a liberal's mind. Only a severe mugging by a drug-addicted, welfare recipient can change a liberal into a conservative. Strange how reality can make one's thinking become clearer.

It is not difficult to get the so-called special visa. Any Iraqi or person of Iraqi origin can get one. Even the young kidnapped journalist got one. She was only a stringer, on her own assignment. You can go there. If you are so gung ho on this war why don't you sign up and fight. If you can't join the Marines there is a host of mercenary companies that sub-contract for the Pentagon.

Doctors Without Borders, yes an excellent organization. But you are not a doctor....better sign up with the Marines.
