The Shamnesty Bill Defeated

Unlike every other talk show host in the country I'm not celebrating today, sitting around patting myself and my listeners on the back. This is a hollow victory! Yes we stopped the radical liberalization of our immigration policy. Here's the bad news the illegals get to stay! Nothing has changed, it's business as usual. The politicians have tricked us into sweeping the problem under the rug for yet another year and we think we've won. This is outrageous! In a post 9-11 climate we have as many as 20 million people here unaccounted for, we don't know who they are or where they are from. We have an open porous border to our south, no fence, no wall and we are celebrating what? We've been duped by Mel and the gang into believing we stopped them when in fact we gave the cover to continue business as usual. Shame on us!

This is an interesting article I read in the Philadelphia news last week. Murders on the East Coast are soaring, and it's attributied to the lack of immigration. "Immigration exerts a moderating effect regarding crime and poor black men."... Wonder if Daisy Lynum read this article. Might apply to Orlando also..

Do you think possibly the Senate will now act to enforce the current immigration laws, they passed in the past? Maybe propose a bill to tweak the current laws, and do the will of the American people. Build the fence; authorize and fund local law enforcement to support the INS with identifying and rounding up illegal immigrants in this country who have fake ID's, (which used to be against the law in this country, and punisheable by a jail term). Once the fence is completed the border patrol can than assume the interior immigration enforcement roles. Laws should be in place and if someone overstays a Visa they should be barred from receiving approval for any future visits to the US. If an immigrant is found to be living and working in the US, holding a fake ID, such as drivers license, social security card, they should be deported and banned from ever returning to the US, and ineligble for applying for citizenship. What's with these Senators? Illegal is illegal. But, when the leaders in charge have no moral standards, and do not abide by the rules.. It is all basic common sense, obviously, none of them have any of that. Makes you wonder what other scams our Senator Mel has pulled in the past.
